Prepare Your Space - Prep your workspace by laying down a protective covering and organizing all of your materials. Some glue pigments can stain so wear an apron or clothing you can get dirty.
Materials - Roll of paper towels, craft tweezers, an offset spatula, scissors, nail file, tooth picks and/or q-tips, a roll of craft tape, cream glue, piping tips, charms/glitter/accessories. You can also have baby wipes handy when starting for easier clean up.
Prep Your Item -
Lay out a paper towel sheets few sheets ready for quick cleanup.
Tape the edge of your item for precision of cream glue.
If the base is acrylic, use the nail file to score the top so that the glue can adhere better tot he surface.
If the base is wood fabric or flexible, add a few small drops of B700 glue underneath your cream glue layer for better adhesion.

TIPS -
A little water goes a long way for cleaning up mistakes. If you feel that your glue is not full smooth, use a bit of water on your finger to smooth out. If the edge of something is uneven, use a wet q-tip to smooth out.
Gently press everything into the glue so that they adhere better. For smaller things, use a tip or toothpick.
When decorating an item that does not have a lot of surface space to turn it as you work, use a cake spinner to turn it around. Adding a doily or a round piece of cardboard will help it stay on the spinner.
